Fibonacci Sequence

1.61803399 society knows this as phi; the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet. Intertwined with the Golden ratio is the Fibonacci sequence which can be observed everywhere in everyday life. From the spiral patterns in nature to the number of petals on flowers to the makeup of musical instruments.

A rose v.s a head of cabbage, the sunflower seeds v.s a pinecone are just a few examples of Fibonacci in nature. The design of violins, keys on a piano, the Rule of Thirds in art, is Fibonacci sequence seen in the performing art category. How a scale is composed, chord creation, the chromatic scale its self in a musical sense correlates back to the Fibonacci sequence.

Who would’ve thought math would such a huge part of nature and music?
